Seriously doubt that this is fan-made. This sounds like a finished version of "1000 Deaths," with real drums. I seriously believe Questlove is playing on this one. The leaked demo has drum programming that was done by D'Angelo.

D’Angelo has finished his first new album in 14 years and will premiere it to the public during a listening session in New York on Sunday, December 14th. The follow-up to 2000’s Voodoo is titled Black Messiah and attributed to D’Angelo and his band the Vanguard.

Fans can RSVP to the listening session, which is being hosted by renowned African American writer Nelson George. The event takes place at the Dream Hotel in Chelsea beginning at 4pm.

In anticipation, the website for D’Angelo’s manager, Kevin Liles, has shared a brief teaser trailer for the album.
