Stevie Nicks Rocks!

Just sitting here watching a concert of hers on tv and
it dawned on me how cool and talented this woman is. I've
loved her for years now. Her first two albums are classics.
she is also a classsy performer. Imagine Iggy Azalea
trying to continue to perform when she's in her 60s
like Stevie. It would be embarrassing. Luckily Stevie
had the good sense to write mature material from
an early point in her career. That's why she is able
to continue doing what she does. She never tried to sell sex.
just pure talent!

Easily my all time favorite female artist.

It's funny back in the day Pat Benatar always won the "Rock Female" Grammy Awards, but Stevie is the one who's more of a legend today.

I totally agree! You know at first I was trying to make a point of asking how many female artists today will have the same longevity as Stevie, but come to think of it, how many of her peers are still touring today? I cant think of many besides Heart and a couple others. Go Stevie!

Pat Benetar still performs, but I don't think she's released any new records in awhile.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I love Pat too, saw her at BB King's a few years ago. Stevie had the dual career going on as I loved her solo and Fleetwood Mac material.

You're right! That's another unique factor about her career. She had her solo stuff as well as music with Fleetwood Mac. She was almost equally successful with both. I'm more of a fan of her solo work. Tango in the night is a great album though!
