Wondering If James Brown Ever Performed This Tune Live |

- I doubt it. The single didn't chart. Another Christmas single, "Tit for Tat (Ain't No Taking Back)" howeer did chart at #86 on the charts. Both were released in November of 1968. In later years, the song took on al life of it's own, becomg his most famous Christmas tune, while not charting. HE had four other Christmas songs chart between 1966 and 1972.
- He had like ten charting singles in 1968. His most recent, October's "Goodbye My Love" was a top 30 pop/top ten R&B hit. The smash "Say It Loud" from August and "I Guess I'll Have To Cry" from June, top 60 pop/top 20 R&B.
