What for? All that ever happens in awards threads is a bunch of folks complaining about the music and the acts.

The AMA is geared towards teenagers and tweenagers. I caught about 30 seconds of the show. I don't know who the "singer" was I was looking at but she was pretty horrific. I was actually happy to see that there was no thread for that fiasco | |

I switched it on, came to the same conclusion that I'm just too old for most of it, and then switched it off about 1 hr into the show. Then after dinner, couldn't resist again, and switched it back on. But I missed Mary J Blige - is it on Youtube?
Only 1 thing - it was nice to see Donny Wahlberg, just brought back memories, even though NKOTB were never HUGE favourites of mine. Can't fucking BELIEVE I'm THAT old!!! | |

I've found that 99% of these award shows bore me 2 tears. I haven't watched in years. The only one I even bother 2 check for is the Soul Train Awards. FOOLS multiply when WISE Men & Women are silent. | |

Did I miss it? Damn and you had to remind folks. I didn't even know the shit was on because I was watching Sunday night football. I actually found out by a few folks on Facebook posting. One of the funniest post came from one of my friends was a post he shared from Rashaan Patterson where he posted a photo of Nikki Minaj and a couple of random pop chicks on stage and his quote was "I remember my fourth grade talent show too." Damn!  Don't laugh at my funk
