Much love 4 Chuckii. The first CD was fire! Two versions of "Turned Away" then two killer jams with "Touch" and "That's My Honey" We need Chuckii back!

Just think Chuckii thought he couldn't write. What? Troop couldn't ddecide on what to wear. Try dealing with 5 people with different tastes. Just a little more polish. Qincy lost a $50 bet that Chuckii couldn't write a song by himself. Oh well. When yall are ready to talk.
sorry if that was over your head...jump up and try to catch the point next time.

Chuckii was more of a Session Cat&He did a few things. He was also in "HouseParty3" backing up Immature in a Scene.Chuckii was also the First Musical Director on BET's Late Night Show back when Michael Corriuer(Misspelled) was the Host.

Session work mainly.can't quite get a deal as a Solo Artist&He came around at the right time when Minneaplis&New jack Swing was in it's peak&after the Record Companys Gave Cats like Dr.Dre,Puffy,Jermaine Dupri,etc.. Side-Labels&whatnot Cats like Chuckki had to go back to Session work, touring&Gigs which I don't think He Minds because it's a Steady Check as to hoping your album gets put out&the other daily matters a Solo Artist has to deal with.

Great thread! I loved Chuckii Booker's first album, but I was a big fan of Mikki Bleu. I bought I Promise back in 1989, and I think that album is great! I especially liked "Until" and his version of "Knocks Me Off My Feet". Additionally, I could tell from the sounds used on one of the songs ("Can He Rock You Like This") that Mikki and I were using the same keyboard on some of the music production we were doing at the time.
