What a great performance! Get a load of LaBelle's hair back then! The lyrics to this song, however, always cracked me up.

I recently found out that, Dennis Wilson had a hand in writing this track. I could not believe it.... "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Norma should go down in History as the most Creative hairstylist in the 20th Century...She took hair and made it a work of Art...A lot of Patti's hair-designs looked difficult and had you wondering "how the Hell did she do that?"....The question that everybody always wonders is How she got the Hair to stand-up and not move...I think Patti said she sprayed the hair pieces and put them in the freezer....LOL...That's some work and dedication right there...

I LOVE THIS!
The Pattie voice before she hits the stage....ya know she's going act up.....At 1:31 I beleive that is the loudest I ever heard Joe sing and I"m like yeah dude do your thing.... 1:39 her control on that note she could have blew that one to the moon to but she didn't .....2:12 the little skips of her feet....The Matador/Flamenco Moment at 2:25, honey just does something to my bones....3:17 not backing down Mr. Cocker YASSSS MF sing it.....3:31 AWW Shit The holy ghost wings have taketh OVA .....3:55 the cat claws to finish it off.
As you see I have watched this many times and thought I would share my feelings step by step. My fathere loved Joe and Pattie and I watched this with him. This performance is so special to me and brings me much joy as well.
oh I forgot....Besides this one her performance 2004 Nobel Peace Prize for Wangari Maathai "A Change is Gonna Come"... I had read she was sick but performed to honor a great activist as Mrs. Maathai asked personally. Pattie tore the roof off that venue. I don't know how to post videos but if ya watch at 4:20 the knees shake, the shoes fly and Patti unleashes what we expect for her to do! I can watch it over and over and have.
