Damn! I love both of these jamz! One is socially conscious and the other is a straight up dance jam. Oh the memories!

I always wanted them to be a couple back in the day. But I understand that Johnny's heart belongs to Eddie Murphy. And Janet and Johnny were never more than good girlfriends. Lol!

Johnny's song is one of the very few forey's Jam/Lewis did into newjack. And yeah the 2 songs are similar underneath I guess.

Alex O Neal's "All true man" album reminds me abit of "Rhythm nation" in sound aswell
