I´m a big fan of Masta Ace and make sure I catch every show when he´s in my area. The last two tours he did around here were great, albeit the second one was very similar to the first one but hey, I don´t expect any gimmicks. The last time I saw him he also performed songs from his newer album that he dedicated to his late mother. He took his time to hang out with fans to take pictures and sign autographs, my brother and his crew did some b-boying on stage, and the merchandise was good and interesting and not overpriced, and Wordsworth sold me a copy of his album. And of course I also bought Ace´s last album and chatted a bit with him about music and the world in general. - I have never heard of Paul Jackson so I can´t say anything about him but what I can tell you is that Masta Ace puts his heart and talent into every single show I´ve seen, whether it´s for 2000 fans or just a mere 200, and he is a very grateful and humble artist and a great lyricist with deep lyrics. If you´ve never seen the Masta before, make sure you see him at least once in your lifetime. Just remembering that last show I saw is bringing back good feelings right now. Go and see Masta Ace! " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?" | |

thanks for the info, and yeah, I decided to see Master Ace, first time for me
I would maybe go for Jackson if it was some 70s retro funk show instead of just a trio and in the end it's not so much a decision between two artists, but rather two genres. I love Jazz (in most of its forms) ....but I LIVE and DIE for (Old School) Hip Hop, so there
