Best vocal Grammy Performances I've got these, so far:
- Michael Jackson's "Man In The Mirror" ending/ad-libs (1988)
- Mariah Carey "If It's Over" (1992)
- Deniece Williams "God Is Amazing"
- Whitney Houston's debut Grammy performance "Saving All My Love For You" (1985)

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

...and let us never forget the rebirth of Tina Turner at the 1985 Grammy's with her win for "What's Love Got To Do With It" complete with one of the most joyous standing ovations on the face of the earth! Momma KILLED it when she came back with her "Private Dancer" album. Well deserved honors that night for her! Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

Dionne Warwick sang "I know I'll never Love this way again" and got a standing ovation (I think)....That was in the 80's but I remember that was when she could deliver The voice.
