I used to have the album. This is the only song I remember liking from it.
I still have it- and it's horrible. Plus, the controvery of this album is that Stevie J is said to have sung most of the vocals on the tracks he produced.
We all know DeVante and Dalvin were more of the producers in Jodeci and KCi and JoJo were the real singers, and that's why the group worked.
A vocal group like Jodeci... who has been off the radar (aka have something to prove) really should not have been allowed to lip sync back onto the scene.
Before you list other vocal acts that lip sync, let me tell you I hate it when (she) does it too. But on the heels of a COMEBACK (and I do not throw that term around), it should be illegal!

Really DeVante always talked like that with a real deep voice and it wasn't complete lipsync and it was people there that said they sang live and Soul Train kinda overdubbed things and they sang for real on some parts and some parts the background was higher but they did not lipsync their new song Nobody Wins and sounded good doing that part and folks keep talking about their looks and everything and talking about DeVante hair he had that ponytail for years and folks wanna make it a big deal. Some dudes in the game rocked slicked back hair before and he ain't the only one

It was Subway and DeVante said that wasn't even him they laughed at that situation at Subway but the cat was just some tall lightskinned cat with a nappy fro and as you can see that ain't even his hairstyle. TMZ made the story up and folks just ran with it. Cat wasn't even DeVante Swing that was in Subway
98% was lip sync in this performance and it's disappointing. There were a few live moments in there but mostly lip sync. I still rock their music though

From what I can tell, all who have made a remark about their performance are or were Jodeci and/or K-Ci & JoJo fans....no one is doubting their initial talent, it's what their talent has become that is sad. The whole consensus in this thread is that the bulk of the Jodeci performance on the Soul Train awards was in fact LIP SYNCHED. Are you KCOOL 2.0?
