Classic, BUT the title is grammatically incorrect. It should be "You, Me and Him," but if it were "correct," there never would have been a song so appealing and so great for the era in R&B from which it came. They don't make 'em like THIS anymore. Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

The album itself is great, not only because all the songs are funky and smooth, but the "situation" continues on a dialogued second part, with the beat in the background. Katie Kinisky: "So What Are The Latest Dances, Nell?"
Nell Carter: "Anything The Black Folks did Last Year"

I understood when you had another [Edited 10/23/14 16:11pm] Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

David Frank from The System played the synths on this, as well as "Juicy Fruit". |

Always thought Roger Troutman and Sugarfoot ripped this tune off a bit when they did "I'm Your Sugar".
Both great jams though.

I absolutely loved Tawatha Agee's vocals on this. She was so underrated. I have her gem of a solo album too..."Welcome To My Dream"....
