For all you Kate fans out there So the shows are over and she's gone back into hiding again. But she was good, wasn't she?!?!! I didn't really start listening to Kate until the Red Shoes album in 1993 because it had Prince on it. And it's still an underrated gem if you ask me. But I guess it was the live show that really made me a fan. Right now, I'm loving the Never For Ever album. Take the song Egypt for example. She's suffering from a bad case of Orientalism there. But who else could have come up with something like Pussy Queen and made it sound angelical and sexy at the same time? And Army Dreamers makes me feel like I'm in the trenches in 14-18. So... What's your favourite Kate Bush album/song/moment ?

Hey fellow Kate lovers! Glad u got 2c the show in London! I've been listening to Kate since 1987 when I was introduced 2 her by an old flame. At first, I absolutely HATED her music, but in the weeks 2 come, I found myself humming and whistling her songs. The rest is history. I can name a whole bunch of songs that I love from her repertoire, but the main ones that come 2 mind that I absolutely cannot live without are "Never Be Mine" from "The Sensual World," "The Red Shoes," "Why Should I Love You" and "Mrs. Bartolozzi" from "Aerial." I still canNOT listen to "Waking The Witch" when I'm alone. That demon voice in there scares the SHIT outta me to THIS DAY! LOL! Peaceout. Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

^Funny, I love Constellation of the Heart. And I'm with Militant: the live shows gave me a "deeper understanding" of The Ninth Eave, too.

I am a Kate fan for a relatively short time, about three years, but there's just no other musician that can make me feel like she does (sorry Prince) My favorite song right now is Mrs. Bartolozzi, which I think has absolutely beautiful lyrics. Favorite album I suppose is Aerial. I love 50 Words for Snow as well, maybe because it was her first album that I accompanied being released. I really hope to see those Before The Dawn shows on dvd. The show looks fantastic on photos, and that song Tawny Moon sung by her son is beautiful. [Edited 10/8/14 1:42am] bleh
