Before I comment - let me explain ...

i have 2 friends who are big big Morrissey fans - (i like his stuff but i wouldnt consider myself a big fan etc ) - - - but they were "so excited" to see him here in the states over the summer etc ....

well - the one came back and said "worst concert ever" because i guess he was somewhat rude on stage but also I guess he didnt do any of the older songs ... is he doing some "remakes" or some different genre now ? ...

the other one - well she was also so excited to seehim here in my hometown ... and i told her what the other girl i know said - - - and how I heard he was cancelling tourdates etc .. and I guess it was cancelled .... so .. just my .02 .... hope he does do the concert and you LOVE it ....

Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet.

Recently I've rediscovered "November spawned a monster"
Amazing piece of work!

I've a good few favourites from morrissey.
In my own shows this year I've been covering "suedehead". People really like it.

And also "you have killed me". I dropped the references to Italian film people n wrote new, more resonating verses. anybody asks I'll tell them it's a cover. Generally people don't ask n assume it's an original.
I love blasting these two.
Though he gets the credit, I really don't think morrissey writes much at all on his own. The text, yes, but not the music or the whole song.

This November I'll see him live!
small circles, big wheels!
I've got a pretty firm grip on the obvious!
