I keep hearing about her co-stars on that reaiity show she is doing falling out with her-first Chrisette and now Lil Mo. So, what's the deal?

Who told her she was Whitney like?

I don't watch that R&B Divas junk but this is the first time I've ever heard anyone utter a negative word about Chante. I love her! So underrated. I think she's just as good of a vocalist as Nippy was in her heyday. Unfortunately, Chante didn't have the kind of machine Nippy had behind her at Arista and MCA didn't bother much to promote Chante outside of black radio, which is really unfortunate because she definately has that Pop cross-over voice.

A few weeks ago, I heard her for the first time discuss on some radio show her two marriages. She said she and Kadeem actually have remained very good friends over the years. She didn't have anything positive to say about Kenny, though.

Reality Show require you to make an ass out of yourself.

The motto of, any publicity is good good publicity is a misnomer. I'm not sure what Ms. Moore hopes to gain because her shipped has passed.

I wouldn't take Mo's word for nothing on that score...or any other, for that matter! That said, it's been said that Chante could have her attitudinal moments and that this may have hindered her in her career, but I don't think she's the worst as far as that goes. There are other divas out there w/ far worse reps. I've never heard that she considers herself Whitney-like. There's a BIG diff between being a bitch and being delusional!!

I'm not sure why anyone would want to "fancy" themselves on the level of Whitney Houston. There is A LOT of negative connotation that goes along with that.

Not true. She's been releasing new material in that span although her recent release of last

year stunk. She's also been touring(Soul Food Music Festival) relentlessly this summer with the likes of Kelly Price, Mint Condition, Lyfe Jennings, SOS Band, Cameo, etc.

As far as Chante falling out with Lil Mo, who hasn't Lil Mo had anything negative to say about

on the show and we are talking about the same Lil Mo who took jabs at Prince.

Team Chante. Also, I STILL don't get the mass unadulterated love for Whitney Houston. Yes, her voice was near perfect but I found most of her material bland or uninspired. Also, it was pretty well known that she was kind of a humorless bitch right?

Vocally, Whitney Houston remains the ideal. A blueprint vocalist. Chante' only dream to be on such level. Chante Moore is off her meds to make the comparison.

Is the comparison to personality or to vocals?

Whitney personality as charmer, warm, humorous, pushed to a point she could bite. Chante' is sneaky, conniving this season.

Well people right here in this thread still love Chante. Not mad at your viewpoint though. There are a lot of artists like Drake and Trey Songz that a lot of us aren't checking for.

Lil Mo is nothing but an annoying,bitchy drama queen I don't take her seriously.To be honest,the only reason I started watching this show is because Chante Moore is on it.I've been a huge fan of hers since 1992.
