Creme D'Cocoa ~ I Will Survive (reply to Gloria Gaynor)

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Lesley Gore had It's My Party (where boyfriend Johnny leaves her for Judy) followed by Judy's Turn To Cry (where Johnny went back to Lesley. No further answer songs, I guess, means Johnny hung in there and they are still together 60 years later. Nice.

Bowie had a sequel to Space Oddity with Ashes To Ashes.

Ramones followed Judy Is A Punk with The Return Of Jackie And Judy. (Oh no, is Judy going after Johnny again?)

And I knew Chuck Berry had written Bye Bye Johnny after Johnny B Goode, but check this out from wikipedia:

Berry has written thirty more songs involving the character Johnny B. Goode, "Bye Bye Johnny", "Go Go Go", and "Johnny B. Blues"; and titled an album, and the nearly 19 min instrumental title track from it, as "Concerto in B. Goode".
