Annie Lennox Any fans in here? Just picked up her first two albums, Diva and Medusa and am pretty impressed, think I prefer them to her Eurythmics work. We're here, might as well get into it.

I though she couldn't top Diva but wait til you hear Bare, by far my favourite of her solo work
Problem is she has only released 4 proper albums in 20 years. Though, well thought, that can be a good thing

Medusa made me a fan. "I Cant Get Next to You" "Train in Vain" "Take Me to The River" "Shade of Pale" and esp "DONT LET IT BRING YOU DOWN." Classic. Then I discovered Diva and it's flawless - minus one song - and is my all time fave Annie cd too.
I love "Bare" - "Wonderful" is her true best composition and performance ever imvho.
"Songs of Mass Destruction" killed her perfect catalog as a solo act for me. Great moments (you can even hear Madonna on verse 2 of sing), some funky keyboards ("Love Is Blind") great tunes ("Dark Road," "Smithereens") but overall - neh, doesnt touch the other 3.
Love that Demi Moore strips to all Annie Lennox songs in "Striptease."
I prefer her solo to Eurythmics but adore Eurythmics "Be Yourself Tonight" album and so many classic singles ("Rain Again," "Whos that Girl," "Missionary Man," "I Need a Man" "Sweet Dreams" etc). [Edited 9/14/14 11:24am] I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

While I like her solo stuff, David gives her an edge so I perfer Eurythemics. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

Longtime fan of Annie and Eurythmics. Favorite Eurythmics albums are Be Yourself Tonight and Savage. Favorite solo albums are Diva and Bare. I'd love the opportunity to see her in concert.

Loved "Diva", as well as, "Medusa". I too prefer he solo work. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"
