I knew I wasn't the only one who thought they sounded alike. I'm going with Vibeology for the arrangement and harmonies, Paula's voice is distracting and Janet's is soothing to the ears though the moans got distracting, still a great beat.

The janet. tour is amazing, but watching Paula's Spellbound tour which came first, there are similarities to the former for sure.

Janet wins this. I always thought Throb was one of her underrated gems. The production arrangement in Paula's Vibeology is great but her poor vocals are very distracting.

ITA. Promise of a New Day and Spellbound are other favorites of mine and of course Blowing Kisses in the Wind!

Vibeology is cool, but come on, Paule doens't have to the voice for it, so case clodes:

I actually can't decide--I love 'em both. But this SNL performance will always slay...
