Stevie Wonder Songs In The Key Of Life In Full

Just found out that Stevie Wonder will be playing his masterpiece live in full. This should be an amazing show. I will make the drive up to Atlanta for sure. Just wish he was doing this a long time ago...but I'll take it!

I wouldn't mind seeing this but Phillips is thee worst sounding concert venue I've even been 2. I wouldn't go if it were free and I was in the front row.

I'll be there in Chicago. An absolute can't-miss. Hell, I might even fly out for the NYC show, too. "Good morn' or evening, friend..."

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

So... THAT song is actually called 'Sir Duke,' huh?

I always thought it was 'Feel It All Over.'

It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G seeing him play it live with the Roots on Jimmy Fallon's show last night!

Got my ticket. Third row, with some special gifts thrown in for the package, hope its something decent.

I really hope they are recording all the shows so they can edit together a live DVD/CD combo. He has a fairly large band (and the band he's had the last few years is the best he's had since Wonderlove by far). But it would be great if he he had a few of the session musicians with him like he did on his one-off performance of the album last year.

That must have cost a fortune! I logged on for the presale and was only able to get the first bowl - how does even get floor tickets anymore? Anyway, so psyched, never seen him!

There are VIP packages available for some shows, I got a gold package. Wasn't cheap, that's for sure. For a lot of shows I don't mind being in the center bleachers, but I wanted to be up close for this one.

Nope, closest he did to this was the fairly short Journey Through The Secret Life of Plants Tour in the late 70's where he performed a large portion of the albums songs (most in shorter form) and then performed his hits during the latter-half. Most of his tours are the typical greatest hits with recent album tracks mixed in. He did perform the album in full at his House Full of Toys show last year though.
