A gem reportedly from Eve's unreleased album,Here I Am,has leaked.

"The Beat Is So Crazy," produced by Pharrell Williams, features Eve and Madonna moving on from failed relationships.

"The beat is so crazy / It makes me want to let go / And totally forget today / I'm better off anyway," Madonna joins Eve on the hook, both singing. Pharrell makes a brief vocal cameo at the latter part of the song.

The song was originally recorded for Madonna's Hard Candy, but was given to Eve when it didn't make the cut, according to VIBE.

Here I Am was slated to drop in 2008, but was never released due to creative differences with her label at the time, Interscope Records. The full-length was to feature her singles "Tambourine" and the Sean Paul-assisted, "Give It To You."

A residual record with three doses of star power has surfaced on the Web. Originally recorded for Madonna’s 2008 Hard Candy album, “The Beat Is So Crazy” was produced byPharrell and features Eve. Though usually enlisted for her bars, the Ruff Ryders rapstress instead sings along with Madonna about moving on after a lost love.

When scrapped from Hard Candy, “The Beat Is So Crazy” was then slated to appear on Eve’s Here I Am album, which was never released.

Terrible, no wonder it's unreleased.

I think it sounds kinda unfinished...like it needs some bells and whistles.It's probably a demo version.

Her album Lip Lock came out last May (2013). It's not bad.

Madonna's vocals and lyrics here remind me of exactly why I disliked Hard Candy so much. Lazy.

First time I heard this and I thought I heard most of Madonna's unreleased stuff. I don't think it's good enough for an album but I think it's pretty nice. I don't think it's terrible, but as someone else said it sounds like an unfinished demo. But it did have potential.
