PE for me first, Outkast, a close second, then Eric B. and Rakim. All are great to me for their originality. Lennytunia

Run-DMC. How quickly we forget. These cats changed the game and are legends. No one has forgotten about Run DMC. Were they more creative or orginal? And btw they are not a duo but a trio. Actually yea they were more original. Rock Box, Walk This Way? First cats to mix Rap and Rock. Outkast couldn't have done the things they did if RUN_DMC didn't pave that road. As far as them being a trio, read the statement I responded to above. Run DMc paved the way for alot of hip hop I am not disputing that. They were the first to mix rap and rock yes I am aware of this. Does that make them more creative or original than Andre 3000 and Big Boi? I am looking at the sum whole of the two acts not just who was first or legendary. Being legendary makes a group the best by default without looking at everything?

As far as a duo I was refering to Outkast being a duo while Run DMC were a trio. There is no more Run DMC without Jam Master Jay.
