The words icon and legend have no meaning anymore because people just give those titles to who ever is overexposed instead of singers who actually made a groundbreaking impact

- The Golden Age of Music is over. Music will never be as groundbreaking or thrilling as it was during the mid-to-late 20th century (1950s-early 2000s). Just be thankful that we have records and CDs to cherish the past.

- Legendary period is over. There are no more legends. Anyone who breaks through as a music artist from now on is directly and/or inderectly influenced by an artist who has broken ground with the same thing before. In other words, I really don't think there is any uncharted territory in music anymore.

Britney Spears seems like a geniune and humble person. She has never taken herself to seriously, she has never made pretentious remarks or implied she was ever better than her peers. She is always complimenting her peers. I am not a fan but I've always admired that about her. I am glad she is finally getting her life together.

The Soul Train Awards is where its at as far as award show performances goes!

I know some people insist Adele is overrated but I don't think she is. I think she deserves her success. She is a great singer. While her music is not my cup of tea, she at least sings about mature issues instead of generic topics and she keeps her clothes on. It was refreshing to see a normal size woman get recognition for her voice and material instead of her looks and marketing.

Missy is crazy underrated.
