No,I want her to do more promo because,as a fan,I like seeing her perform on TV and award shows,I like seeing her intereviews and I just simply like seeing more of her.Why would any fan object to that? Plus,I think a great album deserves to be promoted properly.I don't want another situation like MDNA,where she rushes into tour rehearsals before the album is even released,and then the album quickly fades away as a result.Yes,I know that a tour is the ultimate form of promotion,but any tour she does won't begin until the summer.The album will need something to sustain it before then.I'm not saying that she has to do every single TV show (lol)...maybe just two of the most popular ones,and a high-profile performance on an award show or something.Look at the amazing promotion that she did for COADF.It really paid off.That album was "hot" for a long time.It didn't fade away quickly like MDNA did.

I would object to that because her interviews are boring most of the time, they never ask her about the music, only about kids, still going strong in her 50s and stuff. As for her one-off promo live performances, apart from a few exceptions like VMA 1984 or 1990 and Live8 (and this one was not promo at all), they are either dumbed down tour performances or downright terrible performances. Almost every performance she did in 1998 is light years away from her magnificent live performances, her voice sounded crap compared to the Ray Of Light album, the best performance of that year was at a rainforest benefit of Frozen which was not even televised. COADF promo was very condensed and lasted for like 2 weeks and fans complained she kept doing Hung Up the same way and then 60 times more on tour (which is stupid, of course she would not change the choreography), I really don't think COADF was hot for a long time, in 2006 it mainly sold because of the tour...

Unfortunately the next album will quickly fade away no matter what. How many female artists promoted their albums last year and they failed to sell? Gaga plugged Do What U Want everywhere yet ARTPOP sold as much as Hard Candy, so how on Earth could Madonna at 56 sell more? The album has been relegated to an accessory for the tour and while I understand that for longtime fans who lived through most of her eras is hard to accept but that is how the industry is now.

She is still recording and I don't see the tour started later than June 2015 so I would expect the exact same scenario as MDNA, she probably manages to plug herself again to the Grammy Awards in February through another artist and after that she will be in rehearsals. In the end fans get an album and a tour and I still say that outweighs one-off performances and sales...

Hung up was good but "Get Together" kicked ass! (for me at least). I don't recall how well it did on the charts or radio but it grooved enough for me.

She better be careful because if her new release is too lewd with titles/lyrics that are not radio and somewhat family-friendly, it will fall flat in terms of marketability. Sure she's Madonna - but why stoop to a level that is beneath everyone, including listeners?

A collector who posts in a spanish forum called MadonnaSect has been saying that he had some of the demos recorded this year by M and held a little listening party with one of the users a couple days ago, who posted his thoughts on some of the songs:

"Unapologetic Bitch: Reggae. Weird. In the beginning it doesn't sound like it's M singing! But of course, it's her. It starts with a jamaican vibe and the she starts vocalizing (which reminded me of Diana King for a moment). There's a cool contrast between the title of the song and its melody.

Madonna posted this picture on her Instagram....with the message "2 sides 2 every story"...could she be implying that this will be a double album?!

Well, they needed to hit a home run and turn COADF into a global hit, so they couldn't afford to screw up the promo! Her last studio album before that (AL) was less than a big hit...some would call it a commercial flop. (Disclaimer: I love AL!)

I want another Ray of Light! Not ROL part 2, or even something that necessarily sounds like it. I mean another GREAT album, one that would be a milestone in her career. And if she got an armload of Grammys, that would be fine too.
