Hype has a MTV video vanguard award.

I don't think someone should be awarded an award they technically don't deserve just solely off of promoting purposes but you know that is what they do in this new generation industry (which is the only point I was trying to make). I don't think Prince cares about a video vanguard award and I don't think it would appropiate to give him an award named after one of his peers. They could give him his own special video award but Prince is to legendary for such an award in my opinion. The award lost its credibility.

Less than organic. I think the fact that should couldn't be bothered with having a display in the RR Hall of Fame with her contemporaries spoke volumes of how delusional she is. She just HAD to be in the same area with David Bowie and MJ, like WHAT? Seriously. She's in love with herself and her camp knows how to market her a certain way. I swear I can't pick up a magazine, read a blog, or whatever without seeing this broad's face everywhere. That's not due to her fame it's due to the fact that she pays for that exposure, which I've had more than enough of.
