I've search again and again for the fine (3 1/2 full page) piece LA TImes did on Marion (Suge) Knight circa 2005, with no luck. I thought the LA article was a balanced profile of a man who had a great head on his shoulders. But like so many people, he didn't manage his life or choices very well. Don't feel sorry for him. He purposely cultivated and embraced gang life; you don't get a choice to walk away from that. As far as I know, Knight has never voiced any regrets. Once you put it out there that your are suppose to be a bad ass, some clown in going to see if you are or not. The club scene these days... violence goes hand in hand. How old is Knight, 50?

To Tony's point of view. It's getting a little old when folks don't cheerlead for one person or another on the org... they must hate them. I don't have any respect for fools like Knight. I don't have respect for people who've pimped a mindset that's dumb as hell, and destructve. I find it very hyporcritical for our community to stand around and make excuses for an IMAGE that for so long we cried foul when Hollywood pimped it. Those same images were used to justify killing us without regret or provocation. What Marion Knight represents goes way beyond being shot in the club or what happened 20 years ago on a boulevard in Las Vegas. You know it and I know it.... at least I hope you do, I fear for us.

I thought he was done with that lifestyle and more community focused for at least ten years. It may never undo the reputation and influence of the past, but that's why I felt bad for him.

Katt Williams has made a statement; he was there when the shots were fired. He does not believe Suge was the intended target. Seems like Katt wants to say more but he won't.
