I agree with all the MBDTF love. Yeezus? not so much
I'm suprised Deerheaven, Arcade fire & M83 Aren't higher. Overall it's a pretty decent list. But i don't take pitchfork as seriously as other music nerds though. Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

I don't get the love for MDBTF tbh, I tried, and I tried, I swear I tried.... the only tracks I like are All of The Lights and Dark Fantasy.. but I understand that Kanye put a lot of effort into that sonically.
No love for pop music as always,, I also can't get the love for Arcade Fire, I love Funeral, but The Suburbs & Reflektor are average albums to me..
Pitchfork are such snobs, they're ready to take any indie song that has literally no meaning any day over some decent pop rock jam... |

These are the albums I own on the list. Mostly ladies of course.
Wow, the FKA Twigs record just came out and it's already considered one of the best of the decade.

I feel so out of the loop, since these are the only ones I have out of the 100... they overlooked a lot of awesome albums for many overhyped, hipster favorites though
If you will, so will I |

Almost every music critic and outlet has been riding Yeezus since Kanye projected "New Slaves" on all those buildings interntionally, before the album even dropped. The only reason I think people were so high on Yeezus was because it had Kanye's name on it; strip away the over-hype and one can see that it's a wack ass album, easily his worst to date. |
