If done right, a black and white cover can be beautiful. Technically, all of these are not true black and white, but some are monotone.

I've heard that this was the idea of the record company to take this photo of Bushwick in the hospital after he had been shot. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton | |

He's alive today, but lost an eye. This album came out in 1991.
