A few heads on are up on Peven Everett. I think he is one of the most soulful, idiosyncratic and musically interesting idependent soul artists out here today. He hasvery little promotion and manages to stay afloat through word of mouth it seems. I believe his music is worth hearing. Peven :-just self released another true banger called "We Need House" - it's a real chicago-style soul dance record.
