Even though it's the style he's most known for, I wasn't feeling most of "Black Panties". Much prefer when Kellz is doing 2-step stuff like this (or the more soulful previous 2 albums). It'll be interesting to hear what he comes up with if he really does a House album, as reported. If he stays true to classic Chicago house, rather than the EDM Euro-house stylings that many R&B artists have hopped on, it could be good. "Had to get off the boat so I could walk on water..." |

now THIS is what R. Kelly needs to sound like. I saw the video for the song on Revolt the other night. I also dig DJ Cassidy's other single Calling All Hearts with Jessie J and Robin Thicke. the album was initially due this past spring but I think they haven't found that will launch the project. Hopefully it comes sooner rather than later. | |
