I have been a HUGE fan of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers virtually since their conception in the 70s(I am definately giving away my age group here!!! ) and I have everything they have ever produced.

Anyway, for the past few months I have waited in eager anticipation of their new release, Hypnotic Eye, which arrived yesterday in my mail, and so, obviously I scrambled hurridly to load it into my music system to play!!

All I have to say is - I HAVE NEVER HEARD SUCH UTTER CRAP IN MY LIFE!! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING IN BRINGING THIS OUT??? THERE IS NOT ONE STAND-OUT TRACK THAT I REALLY LIKE FROM THE FIRST LISTEN!! IN MY OPINION ITS A TOTAL ANTI-CLIMAX!!!

Anyone elses thoughts??? I belong on quite a few Tom Petty Facebook groups and I dare not even mention my views on this CD!!!!
