I have recently discovered Talking Heads! I have always known them since when I was a young kid, and liked their songs and the 'weird' style of David Byrne, but mainly knew the live versions from the Stop Making Sense movie. Never tried to listen to any of their albums though, nor felt the urge to look into them as a band. It just didn't grab enough of attention for me, and maybe at 11 years of age in 1983 I wasn't muscically grown up enough to really get into them like I was with MJ at that time, and one year later with Prince. - But recently I was at a friends' home and he had bought two Talking Heads albums and said he had recently discovered they were great. He started playing the "Speaking In Tongues" album from 1983 and I was immediately taken by the sound and the songs on the album. A lot of Linndrum involved, all songs are danceable and most of them pretty funky/ groovy. I loved it actually! And I heard some prince influences too in some of the tunes. - Anyway, I've got the high res audio version now and I can't stop playing and enjoying it, it is a great album! Such a pleasant discovery, after all these years, how silly of me not to know about this or look into them before. - Does anyone has a good tip for the next Talking Heads album I should check? RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

More Songs About Buildings and Food. One of my favorite albums by them, mainly because it contains my favorite Talking Heads song, Found A Job.
I have them all. I don't think you'd be let down by any of their albums.

I got into them a bit late but I love Little Creatures, True Stories and Naked. The Stop Making Sense movie/cd is what sparked my interest. That's one band I would love to see get back together but it will never happen, kind of like Led Zeppelin.
