David Hasselhoff does jeep beat!
I bought the album from a charity shop and shocked the first song was this good LOL. Production is tight and the song is breezy. The rest is so awful, but a few of the ballads work well enough thanks to good producers (Bruce Swedien and Rene Moore must of got PAID for their contributions)
If only the album went on like this though.....
Apparantly it's a cover, which would explain why the actual song is quite good I guess LOL. Strictly for the jeeps LOL

I know the original by Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds. It was played a lot on the radio. They had another song that I used to think was Elvis Presley called Don't Pull Your Love. I didn't know David remade this, but I've heard the New Birth version. This version sounds like early 1990s. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
