R. Kelly Readies New EDM-Based Album

Album Would Mark 4th Release For R&B Singer In Less Than 2 Years

R. Kelly R. Kelly Readies New EDM Based Album

He may have worked nearly 30 years to earn his rightful title as “The King of R&B,” but now it seems R. Kelly is looking to extend his reign into other musical territories. After confirming that he would be releasing 3 albums in 2014 (click here if you missed that), Kelly has announced that he’s hard at work on a new release…a House album.

Taking to ‘Chicago’s Chosen Few DJ’s picnic recently, the ‘Step in the Name of Love’ singer dropped the news that you’ll be stepping to a different beat of his…and soon.

R&B fans shouldn’t feel completely forsaken. Kelly is also hard at work on ‘White Panties’ – the followup to 2013′s ‘Black Panties’ - and a holiday themed album titled ’12 Nights of Christmas.’

Gunsnhalen

I'm kind of tired of ole RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH Kurry.

Love Letter was a great album and i played it to death. Write Me Back was just ok... Black Panties...

So we can hear him talk about pussy with EDM? or hear him talk about pussy with R&B? That's all he has to offer nowadays. His songs are all about the exact same fucking thing. It's either a slow jam, or a song about fucking. And a sequel to Black Panties? eek rolleyes

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

Who ever wrote this doesn't know the difference between House Music and EDM. R has had plenty of his tracks remixed as house club versions. EDM lacks the Soulfulness and feeling of house music.
Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman
