I just discovered this last night. I had heard for so long that they were the most boring, aloof, stand there and do nothing kind of band. I was surprised that Sumner's learned some actual footwork! And he talks to the audience a little bit! Plus they have two new guys on bass and guitar/ keyboard who know how to pose dramatically and lurch around like the music is meaningful to them.

I really enjoyed it, almost 2 hours of hits and favorite songs (Your Silent Face and Ceremony!!!), plus one new tune. They sound a bit more ROCKIN' than usual, giving more weight to the guitar sounds. It's too bad Peter Hook's not around but the new guy plays his parts beautifully.

And anybody who misses the old New Order can watch Gillian Gilbert the whole time - she still stands completely still and looks totally bored. Not even a head bob to the beat of Blue Monday - how is that POSSIBLE?
