Question for Janet Jackson's fans... . Why have Janet Jackson (A&M) albums not had a remastered edition? . With all these anniversary editions and remasters editions of old albums I wonder why Control (as a starter) hasn't enjoyed this process... . Is there a legal issue stopping these albums from it? . Waiting for the 30th, maybe?? . Any idea? Thanx "America is a continent..."

Considering how trend setting (for a pop album) it was, Iam surprised too.
The time has passed now though really. Physical sales are a joke. [Edited 7/7/14 20:10pm]

As a Janet fane, I wonder the same thing.
There is some truely amazing unrealeased stuff, especialy from Rhythm Nation. There's an unreleased funk mix of Escapade (by J&L, of course), a Rhythm Nation demo with a completely different vocal melody, LWNDWY with a bassline, performance mix of Alright. Not to mention the amazing amount of remixes from this era. The list goes on. Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain.

The bean counters up at Universal will one day release what you're asking for, unfortunately it will be tied to a tragedy. They only care about the bottom line not what the fans want.

Sounds morbid, but I can't say I blame you for thinking that She really deserves better props. I think Control 30 would be great.

It would be great to have some outtakes on a second disc... "America is a continent..."
