Nile Rodgers Drops New Dance Track, " Do What You Wanna Do"




Preeminent producer/guitarist Nile Rodgers has a new song, "Do What You Want to Do".

It was recorded last summer in Ibiza, and was auctioned off to benefit his We Are Family Foundation. The winning label, Cr2 Records, is releasing the song to celebrate its 10th anniversary.


It's officially out on August 10.

Nice one indeed! Not as good though as Nile Rodgers' new one with Disclosure and Sam Smith. That one is really funky and cool, and the lyrics and (layered) vocals do remind me quite a bit of Prince.
