Vio-lence, Death Angel, Testament, Forbidden, Exodus,Vicious Rumors, Laaz Rockit(Gunshalen u should check them out). Now them bands are the tried and true of San francisco bay area thrash metal !!! Anyway, What it comes down to is Metallica got most of the notoriety but they weren't the first bay area thrashers. The band Exodus was.
