Well, that was unexpected. I'm underwhelmed--not bad, just.... well, I'll try it again later (when I have decent sound), but I'm not thrilled.
And I care not for the look. I can hear her (vaguely) in the song, but I honestly can't see her in the photos from this project. I know that shouldn't be important, except that it obviously is. The new look exists for a reason, and nobody looks like that without a fair amount of effort. But with that effort, lots (and lots and lots) of people can look just like that--and lots and lots and lots of people can sound almost just like that. Very few people can look like she used to (while at least seeming not to care about how incredible she did look, or sound like she usually has (while seeming not to strain to sound as incredible as she did).
This looks and sounds like trying too hard for too little... on an initial listen, on bad speakers.

Not as good as her classic stuff, but still....continues the comeback of the last album. I think it could sound good in the context of a good album - really like her singing with the other voices (other people?) on this one.
But a few more chord changes could have pushed into classic territory.

Hmmm.. on first listen I'm not really feeling it, but my opinion could change if I heard it a few more times. Change it one more time..

Not bad-this will be a buy for me from iTunes.
Hopefully, she'll get a lot of attention for this song, and maybe a boatload of radio airplay.

hmm, it's not bad, but it feels kind of weird. it sounds like it's one long bridge with just 2 chorusses thrown in. / having said that, it's kinda catchy. / but then i'm one of those people who don't think she's released a bad song on any of her main albums.

It opens with an oft-repeated chorus, leaving the rest of the song with nothing more than a weak verse and unrewarding finish. We all know she's capable of so much better.
