It seems I'm to late to read some reactions about MJ's Escape album and the new single. http://www.google.be/url?...1936,d.ZWU This really sounds great, reminds me of the Michael we loved in the early 80's. This is allready one of my fav's from 2014. The rest of the album, I have to listen a few times more, but so far this is a good album! Better than the previous effort. What are the thought here??

Thank you for all those newspaper clippings!! If you could, could you tell me where i could find more things like that. I have read tons of books on MJ, but since I wasn't around in the 80's (i wasn't born until 95) I have never really seen any of the slippings and articles during the historic OTW/Thriller/Bad/Dangerous time periods. Of coarse they are talked about in various books, but I find it really interesting to read the articles from the time. Does anyone know where i can find more things like that? A website? I would really appreciate it!

Smiled a lot watching these clips. It's sad that there isn't much in cirrculation during this period. It's criminal that the Triump Tour hasn't been released in good quality yet. Destiny/Triumph/Off the Wall years are pivotal, and classic MJ, hopefully we see more footage of this era one day.

The Triumph Tour was the best concert Michael Jackson ever did

it was electrifying....he was dancing so thorough, he did a first round of spins to lead into another round of spins......

it was beautiful stuff......OFF THE WALL

Sorry Iam late, but that deluxe DVD with Xscape sure does highlight how arrogent Timberdick looks next to say Rodney Jerkins, who appears alot more hunble. Sure I know how big and talented Timberland is, but he comes across extremely arrogent to me.

Anyway, the remixes were pointless and I wish Sony would stop trying to get kids into this shit. Also, there needs to be a huge life spanning career documentary ala Beatles Anthology. Start on it now before all the interviewee's are dead. Dude deserves a proper massive documentary of his whole career, and Sony won't let anyone else use his music so why not get the estate on board and make it themselves?

Hey anyone know what kind of sunglasses these were? Does it say "Ray-Ban" on MJ's? Michael J. Fox also had something similar in BTTF:

Timberland is VERY arrogant and I agree the remixes were pointless. I did really like Rodney's work on Xscape. Chicago was okay as well as Blue Gangsta but the original demos were the highlight of the album for me.

Timbaland gets a free pass from me because he did an outstanding job on "Loving You" (which I hope is the next single) and his JT remix of "Love Never Felt So Good" is the one that I also prefer (and the rest of the world too for that matter).

With that said, I would have preferred Stargate remix "Slave To The Rhythm" and "Chicago" since they did an outstanding job with "A Place With No Name" (another track I hope is earmarked as a future single).

Gotta hand it to him for those two, job well done.

Good material. Overall opinion seems to be that, with few exceptions, the tracks should have been left as they were.

My favorite performance of SIM. Wish he sang it live too. I know there's a really short amateur audio recording of the rehearsal, but it would really be something else if some pro footage of it leaked. Who knows, maybe it's in the vaults? hmmm

Just heard some leaks of snippets. Don't have song titles and can't provide a link... BUT the music is AMAZING. One of the songs goes like this: "Would you rather be right here with me, I want you right here next to me, do you really wanna stay, we can take it slow, do you wanna walk away, can let it go…"

Apparently there's a film due to be released later this year based on the book "Redemption: The Truth Behind the Michael Jackson Child Molestation Allegations" which was published in 2004. I've got the book, I'll have to dig it out and give it another read.

It's amazing how the MJ fans continuously ignore Latoya Jackson, the Pope of Pop. She's extremely talented and has had many #1 hits in countries such as Indonesia and Costa Rica. Yet, Toy Toy is ignored and even insulted by jealous MJ and JJ fans who just can't stand that she is the prettiest Jackson and the single testimony carrier of the family. We, Toy soldiers, won't let the world forget about the Pope of Pop.
