God knows I don't listen 2 much French music but every once in a while something comes up that surprises me. I've discovered this French band about a month ago and been listening to their first album in a loop ever since. Incidentally it was a big hip (not mainstream) phenomenon last year in France with lots of praise by music critics but since I'm in India I completely missed it.

The lyrics r totally great but even if u don't get French the music speaks 4 itself. There's a true, raw energy to this band and the songs r full of very interesting oddities that gives each of them a weird atmosphere of sorts. I'm a lot into new wave/post punk/synthpop nostalgia acts and there's none that I know of that sounds quite like this one! The more I listen to it the more it grows on me, I keep discovering things and subtexts (both lyrical and musical) in every song each time!
