I got three:
"Broken Hearted Me" by Anne Murray, 1979 Capitol Records, "Someone That I Used To Love" by Natalie Cole, 1980 Capitol Records, "Vanishing" by Mariah Carey, 1990 Columbia Records.
Some pretty tragic shit in these titles. [Edited 6/2/14 16:56pm] [Edited 6/2/14 16:57pm] Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

this wasn't a sad song, but it always recalled a sad moment
James Ingram's JUST ONCE...awesome song
that song was release the same period in 1981 when my paternal grandmother passed
everytime that song aired, I would always start crying thinking about my grandmother
and it got to the point where whenever that song came on years down the line, I would never listen to it..........

The first one that comes to mind is Close to you by the Carpentars. I think the song is beautiful bought the melody is so sad. It tears me up when I hear it. The other song is, I can't live anymore, the one Mariah Carey covered. Again, beautiful but very sad.

She always used to say, "You did your best, but it wasn't good enough". "This is why we can never get anywhere". It also reminds me of something that should be in a Broadway play.... "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"
