Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def Denied Entry into the U.S.

Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def, has canceled his upcoming U.S. tour, according to a statement on the website for the music festival Together Boston.

The reason? Due to “immigration/legal issues” that preclude his re-entry to the United States.

I know he moved to South Africa a few years ago but that shouldn't prevent him from being able to come here and work. What the hell is really up with this? confused

disbelief That's just out cold. There's plenty of people that need to be banned from this country and Mos Def ain't one of them. disbelief
