This was posted by some fans in Paris on her fansite, they got to eat with her

I got to ask her many questions.
We were about 15 fans (half being MJ fans who found out where she was staying...)
I'm on the right on the picture
I'm going tu update this post from what I can remember :

-Janet is NOT attending this year's event in Cannes for amFar.
-She said she is in a good space "full of light" and surrounded by great people.
-Gil & Prestion were on her sides and were texting each other the whole time!
-Wissam was just behind her with Joey. At one point he kissed her on the cheeks and said he had to leave.
-Her plans for her Bday? She went to a club in Paris yesterday with Gil & Prestion but tonight "my baby is taking me to dinner".
-She denied working on a new album (!) maybe she didn't want to spill the beans in front of so many people...
-She has no plans for a film...
-I asked why she's not on Twitter anymore and she said she wants to keep her live very private
-She said "my life has changed" meaning her focus is not on her career anymore (from what I understand).
-She's taking arabic courses to learn the language.
-I asked her about Jimmy Jam she said they talked on the phone a few days ago and he is mixing his new album. She confirmed that she did one song on it. It's an old song she recently completed called "Lovin'" (she was not sure about the title and has not heard the final mix).
-We talked about Brazilian music she likes
-We talked about her favourites places in Paris and how much she likes the architecture here.
-Her nephew Austin just texted her to wish her Happy birthday

This same post was posted in Janet Xone, and someone countered it by posting a Tweet from Gil saying it's "False" that there's no new album on the way. Also, RockWilder Instagrammed a message to her saying he had a blast working on new music with her, and her husband even hinted that a new album is emminent. I'd have to hear it from her to believe there's nothing on the horizon.

That's not strictly true, producers were working on new music with her last year and talked about it.

Whether or not there's any plans to release it, is a different matter....

Maybe Janet just changed her mind! I just want her to be happy.Which she seems to be right now.

I really would love Janet to come back because I believe she has one more good album left in her.

She technically never has to come back if she doesn't want to. I just wish she invest more in her back catalogue which I think could greatly enhance her legacy in this generation. She has a really good back catalogue and could get the new generation exposed to her classics. If she doesnt come out with any new music, I think she could at least do some anniversary C.D.s, special editions, behind the scenes dvds etc

Janet Jackson is retired and has been for quite some time

after the madness of the past 4 years...she has had enough

tired of the crap unleashed against for her family over time.....

at some point, u get sick of it and say I'm cool on it

and she is doing exactly what she needs to do...nothing

I'll forever be grateful for her making my world better when she unleashed Rhythm Nation 1814 and wish her much peace and happiness.....

Janet doesn't really have anything left to prove. She has had & done it all! Number one albums,movies, tours,tv shows, and books. What is there left for her to do?

Have a happy marriage and a baby...

Just because she says no new album remember

this is a woman who hid her marriages as long as

possible plus she is a Jackson and the Jackson clan

isn't known for being open and honest. Not that

I blame them - if I was in show business I would do

everything possible to protect my privacy - its just that

I'm not 100% believing her.
