I still remember (I think it was) Big Daddy Kane's story about going on tour with them through South America and the Southwest, and how the other MCs would be spitting hot fire and the crowd would kind of nod their heads, but when Kid Frost came out and said, "This is for La Raza!" the crowd went bananas.

It's definitely a classic.

Around this time there was some airplay for rappers with a Latino background like Kid Frost, Mellow Man Ace, Cypress Hill, Gerardo, & Lighter Shade Of Brown, then South Park Mexican a little later.

I just looked at his wikipedia.. I had no idea he had so many albums. The only one I knew about was that one this song was on.. Hispanic Causing Panic. I wasn't really a fan of his rapping style tbh though.
