Jay Z and Solange

Jewelry Shopping TOGETHER

Jay Z and Solange Knowles Jewelry Shopping Together
Jay Z
and Solange Knowles went looking for jewelry together Tuesday afternoon at a high-end NYC jewelry store ... TMZ has learned.

Our sources connected with the store say Jay and Solange were in Mr. Flawless, where they were looking for women's jewelry for around 20 minutes.

We're told the pair showed no signs of strife, and looked at gems with Mr. Flawless himself. They looked, but tried nothing on. They left the store without buying anything.

Jay and Solange didn't talk much inside the store ... they pretty much just browsed quietly.

hmm hmmm Damage control????

Justin Bieber

LAPD Investigates

Alleged Attempted Robbery

5/14/2014 1:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF
EXCLUSIVE

0513_bieber_altercation_tmz_wm

Posting this here because....I am pretty sure that Bey and Jay made this happen so as to distract people from their current scandal and to get people to talk about the Bieb's mess instead of the Knowles-Carter elevator fight. Yup. They paid Justin, the accuser and the LAPD to concoct this robbery attempt in order to take the heat off themselves...yep Justin Bieber, who is a big fan of Beyonce and Jay Z, was willing to take the fall for his idols. Said he considers it his honor and duty to protect their public image of perfection.

So just so you folks know, this is how Bey and Jay roll....we all know they didnt become this powerful by looks and talent alone. You gotta have the money and the connections in the LAPD....So uh...yeah. That's what they did and why they did it......

Yep, and rightly so. But some folks believe it's ok for a woman to committ an unprovoked attack on a man, and the man can't retaliate - fuck that shit. I see comments on Facebook saying "right on sista!" or "go get him!". Bunch of jackasses.

Yeah, no matter how modern we think we are, it's a sexist society we still live in. Women can beat the hell out of men, ´cause men aren't allowed to defend themselves. Men defending themselves are considered assholes because they often are physically stronger. Is it ok for women to hit men? Is it ok for children to hit their parents? Is it ok for a 5th grade to hit a 7th grade and get away with it? I'm not saying age wise, but physically? Are we allowed to act primitive on people, and both hit and kick them just because they are physically stronger than us? We don't deserve to be put in place? Jay Z managed to control himself, but I wouldn't think he was mean for protecting himself.

However when that is said. We don't know nothing more than what we witnessed. It's quite possible there's a good reason for her flipping out. You know people do alot of crazy shit to protect their closest. So if it has something to do with protecting Beyonce, then I understand. However we don't know, and shouldn't speculate too much. TV is still showing soap operas.

Okay, really Dame Dash? What rock did you crawl from out under to appear and give your twocents??? Laughable.

Rachel Roy's Ex Compliments Solange's "Independent Spirit" After Her Fight With Jay Z

Alyssa Toomey, eonline

Solange Knowles was clearly fired up when she allegedly attacked Beyoncé 's husband, Jay Z, in an elevator after the Met Gala, and now we have further insight as to what first caused the brawl.

The shocking clip, which was recorded May 5 at the Standard Hotel, shows four people, presumably, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Solange and a bodyguard entering the elevator before the aggravated woman, who is presumed to be Solange, begins yelling at the gentleman in white (purportedly Jay Z) before launching into an attack.

However, it appears that another incident went down before the brawl that has the entire Internet buzzing.

According to a source, "Solange and Rachel Roy got into an argument prior to the elevator incident," which apparently provoked the singer.

Roy has known the Knowles family for years as she used to be married to Jay Z's ex-partner Dame Dash, and yesterday, after the tape was released, Dash posted a picture on Instagram of Solange with the caption "I am actually impressed with her independent spirit, she seems like a fighter."

A fighter with a mean high-heeled kick, so what sent Solange over the edge?

"Jay said something inappropriate to Beyoncé and Solange, and she snapped," a source tells People. "When they got in the elevator, it escalated quickly the way family tensions can. It got exceptionally heated the way family moments can."

"Solange is super protective of Beyoncé," the insider added.

However, it appears that things may not be smoothed over with her sister, as Solange has since deleted all but one photo of Bey from her Instagram account (for what it's worth, she still follows her sibling) even though the two left together the night of the brawl and even traveled to Costa Rica just three days later for a get-together involving Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams that may have involved Rowland tying the knot with fiancé Tim Weatherspoon on Friday night.

But Bey was back in New York and all smiles on Saturday, when she caught the Nets-Heat game with her hubby. The picture-perfect couple enjoyed a Mother's Day brunch with daughter Blue Ivy on Sunday and then stepped out for an uneventful dinner date.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Beyoncé goes on Instagram frenzy, shares multiple photos with sister Solange Knowles after Jay Z fight

The 32-year-old singer takes to her social media to show she has her sister’s back amid drama surrounding her elevator spat with Bey’s husband.

Beyoncé goes on an Instagram spree, posts four photos in a row with sister Solange Knowles just days after her fight with Jay Z after the Met Gala.

Beyoncé wants fans to know she and her sister are closer than ever.

The 32-year-old singer took to Instagram early Wednesday morning to share four loving photos in a row with Solange Knowles after her sibling's violent elevator spat with husband Jay Z was caught on tape and released by TMZ earlier this week.

Bey only captioned the first upload, where the duo look happier than ever, writing "Good Morning," while the rest simply speak for themselves.

The second share is one of Blue Ivy's mama resting her head on her little sister's shoulder while the third is a flashback photo of the two at an event.

The last pic was a sweet snap of the pair embracing after Beyoncé surprised Solange on stage during her Coachella set just last month.

Beyoncé’s choice to share the series of shots was clearly to prove the point that there is no animosity between them, however, it comes as a bit of a shock since Solange apparently just deleted dozens of photos of her famous sibling from her Instagram account.

By Tuesday afternoon, Jezebel pointed out that ... remained — an old pic showing the sisters from over a year ago.

"You forgot to delete this," one commenter wrote.

"This is the only picture remaining of Beyoncé," another mentioned.

The family has yet to speak out since the surveillance video surfaced Monday showing the 27-year-old singer hitting and kicking her brother-in-law when leaving a Met Gala after-party at The Standard hotel in New York on May 5.

Beyoncé’s social media spree Wednesday is the first public move made addressing the controversy.

Why is Beyonce's PR posting these random photos NOW? lol

It is a little to late for damage control and looks phony. Her team posted those photos of her sister and then they posted a photo of her and Rihanna. Blood is thicker than water. Ain't no way in the world I would sit and be silent while people falsely called my sister bi polar and crazy. Fame and reputation should not come first ESPECIALLY over family. She could at least come out with a statement in Solange's defense. neutral Either come out with a statement or stop with these contrived PR Instagram posts because these posts are making matters worse. If this was Madonna she would not have given a damn about what any of us thought lol

Jay-z did protect himself though by shielding himself from Solange's kicks and punches. Defending oneself is not just physical retaliation. If Jay-z had hit Solange back yes he probably would have done more damage than her. Jay-z came out unscathed, no one knew it happened until the video leaked, so what's the point of beating Solange to a bloody pulp? I think he did the right thing.

Yeah I don't like all this talk about when it's okay to hit women. Too many women experience domestic violence in the first place so the eagerness of being able to hit women in situations like these makes me uncomfortable. I mean I don't think anyone should put hands on anyone and I think Solange was absolutly wrong, but there other ways to deal with these situations.

Bullshit! If a woman had sexually molested someones child, would you really say that a man attacking this person was NOT A MAN? C'mon? Seriously? This pride thing is important to have, but there's a line. I protect all women, but don't say never. There are situations where you can't really defend cruel women. This has nothing to do with Solange. As this is taken out of context, and the situation didn't evolve into something dangerous.

But if a situation had become dangerous, and your only option was to protect yourself with violence, you'd choose that before death any day. Us as human can't promote violence against men just because they're supposed to handle it. Not all men are built like bulldozers and can protect themselves without actually attacking in self defense. Again this has nothing to do with this particular situation, as it never went that far, and they had a bodyguard there.

That "under any circumstance" is totally bullshit. I wouldn't believe you for a second if the right situation had happened. Please!

Well I'm not the one who said "under any circumstances" I was just quoting to give my opinion on the whole men hitting women back. I realize that situations can be different but the thing is some men seem eager to hit a woman back just because she hit first. If she can be restrainted (which Solange was) or if you can get away from her I don't see the point in hitting back. That goes for any kind of physical altercations regardless of gender. If your life is in danger yes that's a different story.

It was a joke. I just used her as an example of a no girl. She clearly has her own opinions based on her attitude towards someone that is considered a SOMEBODY compared to herself.

When it comes to her skills as a musician, she is alot more interresting than most of the girls Prince produced for earlier. Her album produced by devonte hynes, was pretty damn good. And she was the coolest feature besides Prince on Janelle Monaes album. Her background vocals are amazing.

Her attitude might be a bit too much though.
