Yep! Even before this incident there was gossip and rumors going around about Jay cheating on Beyonce and even being abusive towards her. I don’t know if that’s legit or not but seeing Solange go in on Jay like that makes ya wonder. She was not playing around-she was furious and looked like she wanted to take Jay down. She even spat at him at one point! I don’t think she was drunk, it feels like she was furious at Jay for something he did to Beyonce and this was her sticking up for her sister because Bey’s not a fighter like she is.

So TMZ updated the video and has the FULL video of what went down in the elevator! At some point Solange calmed down and stopped her attack on him...the bodyguard pushed the Emergency button again so the elevator would open. They were about to walk out but it looked like Jay said something that set Solange off again, she swung and actually hit him this time...Bey and the bodyguard went back in the elevator and they had to keep closing the door cuz Solo was going off....such a sad mess! I really believe there is a serious reason why Solo was going after Jay and it has to do with how he's been treating Beyonce.

i'm seeing that a lot of people believe that there's some domestic violence involved wih bey and jay which made solange act out. i don't know how one extrapolates that particular conclusion from the video. i guess it's as good a reason as any since we don't know anything, but it seems "odd" that that would be the one thing that most are zeroing in on as the cause of fight.

I'm starting to get the feeling this is yet another highly successful publicity stunt pulled off by none other than Beyonce. That broad will do ANYTHING for media coverage.

Seriously though, if you watch the whole vid you'll see Beyonce say something to Solange as well as stand between her and Jay at one point. Her intervention was half hearted though, which tells me that she may feel her sister had a good reason for going off like that.

Also you gotta believe that this isn't the first time Bey has been through something like this with Solange and probably knows how to deal with her much better than we the public think.

Jay was smart not to get into the same car....you don't want no drama in a moving vehicle.

This was no publicity stunt, it just took TMZ a few days to negotiate a price and get a check to the guy who leaked it.

Well while it would be easy to think that, this isn't Bey's MO. I'm not even a fan of hers and strongly don't believe this was a stunt on her part...she does that type of publicity that's crazy pretentious. But this mess here? Somebody just wanted a quick payday.

Well that's just the vibe I get from watching the video, that Solange went off on Jay because of some kind of mistreatment he was dishing out to Bey and Solo wasnt having it. Of course her going off could have been due to anything, nobody knows what set her off and I doubt we'll ever get the truth. But I dont think she would come out swinging, kicking, hitting, and spitting at her brother-in-law for no reason or something petty. That's jmho.

Well since there is no audio, it's all left to interpretation. This could have been Sol vs. Jay Grand Slam part 13 in Bey's eyes for all we know. Either she agreed with why she got so mad or is used to the madness. Either way, it's still mind boggling how she walked out the elevator with a posing smile on her face. The Twilight Zone for real.

How do you choose between your sister and your hubby though? Could be tired of playing referee between those two.

I still think that a part of Bey felt that he deserved what he got...she was looking slightly satisfied coming out of the elevator.

Beyoncé and her younger sister Solange had a quick getaway over the weekend.

Shortly after a violent video between Solange and Jay Z went public , E! News confirmed through immigration reports that the two siblings jetted to Costa Rica for a few days late last week on a private plane. According to the reports, Bey and Solange both entered the country on Thursday, May 8 at 7:56 p.m. and left at 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

So what was behind the short-lived tropical vacation? It seems as though it may have been for pal Kelly Rowland 's reported wedding!

Kelly, Bey's mom, Tina Knowles, Rowland's fiancé, Tim Witherspoon, and Destiny's Child bandmember Michelle Williams were also in Costa Rica during the same few days, according to records first obtained by local paper La Nación.

The ceremony is rumored to have taken place on Friday night, and while there are no photographs of the super-secret event, Beyoncé did post an Instagram snapshot on Saturday of herself looking like she was decked out in bridesmaid garb. She simply captioned the photo "GoodMorning."

However, it looks like she made the trip without her hubby, who was not included in any of the immigration reports. And that may or may not have something to do with what went down last week.

It was revealed today that there seems to be some drama between Bey, Jay and her sister after elevator surveillance footage, obtained by TMZ , shows what appears to be Solange throwing punches and high-heeled kicks at her brother-in-law in a violent scuffle after the Met Gala in New York City.

The clip, reportedly recorded May 5 at the Standard Hotel, shows a larger man, presumably a bodyguard, restraining the aggravated woman. But said female (purportedly Solange) is feisty, and still manages to make contact with the gentleman in white a handful of times, despite attempts to hold her back. The man under attack (who appears to be Hov) holds the woman's foot in place to prevent her from kicking him, but at no point attempts to strike her back.

While the trio have each stayed mum on the incident, Blue Ivy 's mom posted a prayer on Instagramfollowing the Met Gala asking God to bless her relationships, which may have been in response to the attack.

Meanwhile, the Standard Hotel has released the following statement: "We are shocked and disappointed that there was a clear breach of our security system and the confidentiality that we count on providing our guests. We are investigating with the utmost urgency the circumstances surrounding the situation and, as is our customary practice, will discipline and prosecute the individuals involved to our fullest capacity."

The reason why people are assuming that Solange attacked Jay Z over domestic issues is because there have been rumors for years that Jay is physically and emotionally abusive towards Beyonce. I am not sure how true this is but I personally have always felt that their image was all smokes and screens especially Beyonce. There marriage is not all picture clean perfect because the girl revealed on her album that Jigga cheats and has cheated on her. This is what happens when you try to project that you are perfect, have the perfect life and the perfect family.

She witnessed her sister attack her husband on the elevator and then walks out with all smiles. I just feel it just comes to a point where image is not everything and family should come first on some things as well as YOUR own well being. You really care more about fixing your dress to look good for the cameras versus calming down your sister?...... Although I am not a fan and find her to be very overrated, I kinda feel sad for her sometimes because she strikes me as a really insecure person that loves to pretend that she "has it all together" for the camera. I am not pointing fingers but I am pretty sure Solange would not attack her sisters husband publicly for no good reason. I think her reason had to do with something related to Beyonce. Really? The only song I've heard in it's entirety is that awful Drunk In Love bullshit, but I never would have thought that she would have gone as far as to describe personal marriage issues on her album.

I'm watching the Brooklyn Nets game and Bey and Jay are there. So, as strange as this seems it may be par for the course for their family. Two of my sisters are married. I can't imagine swinging on either of my brothers in law and not having my sisters react. They would either defend their husband, defend me or tell us both that we need to get our acts together! Trust, there would be a reaction. But my two sisters are VERY strong willed....not the bow down types by any stretch of the imagination...........

This is crazy and messed up, but man if it's not satisfying to see that Beyonce and company aren't perfect. They do all this work to project a perfect image but of course it's no one is perfect and this is just the proof.

Either BEY's sister is an awful drunk or she's defending her honor or most likely her sister's honor. She looks rather stable on her legs for her to be too drunk. I would think Jay did someone wrong, diss the sister, hit on other ladies, or as it has been suggested mean to BEY in some manner(s)?

Bey stays out of the situation and is pleased with the outcome which indicates perhaps sis was sticking up for BEY.

The rumors I've heard are of Jay being controlling and verbally/physically abusive to Bey--the cheating rumors which have been going on for years about him cheating on her throughout their relationship, also Bey and Jay having 3-somes with Rita Ora and others... But this video of Solo going in full attack mode on Jay like that, shows me there are serious issues that have been simmering beneath the surface for years--they just now beginning to reach the boiling point. I dont think the attack was due to just one incident, looks to me like it was a build-up of ongoing things but there must have been a final straw to break the camel's (Jay Z's) back. I mean that bodyguard had to keep restraining her because she kept trying to get at him. And Beyonce just standing there like a robot....so her and Jay went out tonight to a basketball game to make sure to keep up appearances and let the public know all is well in paradise but....this picture of them leaving after the epic blowout in the elevator speaks much louder:
