The MET Gala gets tons of press on its own and their tour was annouced before the MET Gala. Yes the tour is basically sold out so again why do they need publicity? We are waiting for a real answer.

I know one thing, TMZ ain't going to let this go. They are going to run like hell with this one. Part of it is because of their popularity and the usual privacy standard they try to keep. The media loves, "Trouble in Paradise" shit. It will be interesting to see how they handle it. Beyonce as always was on her game by the time the cameras hit. Um, no. Why would they want to leak something like this to the public? Jay and Bey are very image conscious and have worked hard to present the image that they live the perfect lives and have the perfect marriage. This footage makes them look hella messy and opens the door for countless negative speculation about the state of their marriage and relationship. This footage doesn’t help them in any way and could possibly hurt the buzz for the tour. Instead of ppl talking about the tour, all that’s gonna get talked about is the footage and what’s going on behind closed doors. Like others have said, Bey and Jay already have tons of publicity and don’t need any more. They may be media whores but they not stupid. This footage does nothing for their brand or image and only threatens to bring the skeletons they’ve worked so hard to keep hidden out of the closet and into the limelight.

As for how TMZ got the footage? Someone who works security at the hotel who has access to that footage realized they could make a nice chunk of change by selling it to them. TMZ has a link and a phone number on their website for anyone to call in with a tip. The person who gave them the footage probably gave it to them the day after it happened, and TMZ decided to release it now.

Yep! Even before this incident there was gossip and rumors going around about Jay cheating on Beyonce and even being abusive towards her. I don’t know if that’s legit or not but seeing Solange go in on Jay like that makes ya wonder. She was not playing around-she was furious and looked like she wanted to take Jay down. She even spat at him at one point!
