Pretty good isn't it? (The song)...pleasantly surprised. . Also refreshing to see a popular female artist with her clothes on...for a change...and who's not overtly sexually objectifying herself...in this instance... . Solidly structured song for her genre...movie soundtrack sounding stuff. . | |

Saw a commercial yesterday and liked the rock type song. The Target release has 3 extra tracks. Reminds me of her earlier better stuff. Just Music-No Categories-Enjoy It! |

Can't Remember To Forget You was clearly based on Bruno Mars' Locked Out of Heaven, the oh oh ohs, the reggae guitar riff (Police inspired mainly), even the change from the reggae rock arrangement to the modern arrangement during the chorus is stolen from LOOH. Empire, though, is a solid return to her roots. | |
