The Rat Pack(cont. from Part 9 thread) Last Part 5(Requested by missfee)

The show is set in December 12, 1961 - Frank's 46th birthday. During the evening the four perform and celebrate on stage in Las Vegas. The songs they sing are those that made the Rat Pack internationally famous -- "Luck Be a Lady Tonight, "One for The Road," The Lady is a Tramp," "What Kind of Fool Am I," "The Lady is a Tramp," Mr. Bojangles," "Birth of the Blues," "Volare," "You're Nobody Til Somebody Loves You." Their friend and protégé is a rock idol named Bobby. He joins the celebration and serenades the birthday boy with some of his hits including "Mack the Knife and "Beyond the Sea."

Burt Reynolds & Dianne Shore. Rat Pack stars Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. appeared on the big screen in 1984, featured in a film called The Cannonball Run II. It was a sequel to the original Cannonball Run from 1981 which also starred Dean and Sammy, but this time they were joined in the cast by the Rat Pack's leader Frank Sinatra.

What browser are you using? I use Firefox and it loads up fast. I decided to close part 9 due to it being slow from all the pics. I am gonna limit it now to 10 pics per reply to see if it helps. I checked IE, Opera, Chrome and those don't load pictures good like Firefox. Give Firefox a try: https://www.mozilla.org/e.../?icn=tabz

I use Mozilla Firefox at work and Google Chrome at home.

I can see all of the pics that Mickey has posted but can only see three of the Rat Pack pics above.

Darn that sucks. If you guys don't have it. I recommend Glary Utilities(FREE) to clear temp files and use Firefox. Can you see the Hats pics alright?

Lee Remick

Lee Ann Remick was an American film and television actress. Among her best-known films are Anatomy of a Murder (1959), Days of Wine and Roses (1962), and The Omen (1976).

Remick made her film debut in Elia Kazan's A Face in the Crowd (1957). While filming the movie in Arkansas, Remick lived with a local family and practiced baton twirling so that she would be believable as the teenager who wins the attention of Lonesome Rhodes (played by Andy Griffith).

Remick next appeared in the 1964 Broadway musical Anyone Can Whistle, written by Stephen Sondheim and Arthur Laurents, which ran for only a week. Remick's performance is captured on the original cast recording. This began a lifelong friendship between Remick and Sondheim, and she later appeared in the landmark 1985 concert version of his musical Follies.

Remick received a Tony Award nomination in 1966 for her role as a blind woman terrorized by drug smugglers in the thriller Wait Until Dark. She continued to do movies and plays and mixed them with TV appearances.

After appearing as Eula Varner, the hot-blooded daughter-in-law of Will Varner (Orson Welles) in 1958's The Long, Hot Summer, she appeared in These Thousand Hills as a dance hall girl. Remick came to prominence as a rape victim whose husband is tried for killing her attacker in Otto Preminger's Anatomy of a Murder. In 1960, she made a second film with Kazan, Wild River, which co-starred Montgomery Clift and Jo Van Fleet.

When Marilyn Monroe was fired during the filming of the comedy Something's Got to Give, the studio announced that Remick would be her replacement. However, co-star Dean Martin refused to continue, saying that while he admired Remick, he had signed onto the picture strictly to be able to work with Monroe.

Remick later appeared in several made-for-TV movies and miniseries, for which she earned a total of seven Emmy nominations. Several were of a historical nature, including two noted miniseries: Ike, in which she portrayed Kay Summersby, alongside Robert Duvall (her co-star in Wait Until Dark) as General Dwight Eisenhower, and Jennie: Lady Randolph Churchill where she portrayed Winston Churchill's mother, the American debutante Lady Randolph Churchill who married Lord Randolph Churchill.

She co-starred with Gregory Peck in the 1976 horror film The Omen, in which her character's adopted son, Damien, is revealed to be the Anti-Christ.

Remick was the subject of The Go-Betweens' first single, "Lee Remick", as well as Hefner's 1998 single of the same title (the two songs are unrelated).
