It's rare that an artist has literally NEVER been posted on the org before. But my cousin just hipped me to this 90's Detroit House gem. Brilliant.

These guys, Drexciya, along with Juan Atkins, were real pioneers in Detroit house. They were also completely anonymous, and the main guy's identity only came out after his death a decade ago. They have this real interesting mythology about "Drexciya" being an underwater island habited by a race of amphibious Africans, whose pregnant mothers were thrown off of slave ships and they learned to breathe underwater. It's really interesting! And a lot of their music and themes are built around water. I dig them a lot.

My cousin, who told me about this track, is really into classic video game music and produces electro himself under the name Moonraider. He just had a track placed in a Playstation Vita game called TxK, it's this track:
