Even tho Mariah sang it betta than Cherrelle,,,the original version stand as the betta since it brings alot of memories.

of course the orginal jam and lewis version will always be a classic, i liked robert palmer's version cause it maintained the orginal's funk, and he made it his thang by changin the key and hypin up the drums and keyboards... | |

I like the "remix" version of this song, which has a lot of echo, is really overdubbed, & finishes with the the music-
& the bg singers repeating the "didn't mean.." refrain- being played BACKWARDS! COOL! Yeah, Cherelle.. she can sing, is attractive & had more clevage that I thought, looking at the picture of her on her last album, whose title I can't remember.. for obvious reasons... I'll see you tonight..
